Our Fun Times with the Goats

We try to maintain as much family time as we can, therefore, we include all of our children in the care of the goats. From our youngest at one year of age to our oldest of twenty-one, everyone helps. It is amazing to us how the goats take to the younger children and treat them as their "own" little ones. Please enjoy these photos of our family and the fun times we have with our herd.

 "Big Mamma" getting the treats.

Butterscotch checking the baby out.

Everyone loves the treat container.

"Big Mamma" cannot stand for the baby to cry. She will pace the fence and try to console him. Totally amazing to me~

Nickie, age 3. has made friends with all of the goats. They love to eat out of her hand.

Nickie blends in with the does.

Leon likes making them run~

No pictures please~

Lucy is quite the daredevil~

Lucy teaching "Duke" the ropes about slide climbing.

Alyssa showing how happy we are to have the baby goats. Duke was very happy to have this much loving from her.

Daisy getting some loving from Payton. Damian was waiting his turn to give her a kiss.

Leon, Dusty, and little Edward.. Leon was giving kisses to Edward.

When a doe refuses to stop getting her head stuck in the fence, while we are away, they get to wear this pretty thing the kids have nicknamed.. "The Goat Hat." I was reluctant to try this, but I quickly learned that just a few days with this "hat" on their horns, they learn to stop putting those horns where they do not belong.
